Week 1

This weekend’s hormone horoscope: It may be difficult to focus on anything but sex this weekend as high testosterone revs up your libido to cycle-long highs and makes the orgasms you achieve crazy-intense. By coincidence, this high hormone is also amping up your confidence. This makes it a perfect time to try something novel between the sheets whether you’re alone or with a partner. You’ll also get a thrill out of flirting in new places, so dare to attend a single’s event you would normally shy away from, such as speed dating, or list your profile on a dating website and reel in some hotties!

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
This weekend’s hormone horoscope: When making plans for this weekend, keep in mind rising progesterone. This pesky little hormone can be a real damper on a late night out. That’s because it has a sedating effect on you, making you feel a little sleepy and having you want to turn in earlier than you did the first two weeks of your cycle. So, if you’re planning to attend a hip party that goes into the wee hours of the morning or get your Frank on at a midnight screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, take steps to stop yourself from pooping out prematurely, such as taking a nap during the day or avoiding making the hormone-fueled fatigue worse with other sedatives, such as alcohol or chamomile tea.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
This weekend’s hormone horoscope: When doing your weekend activities, think about comfort: Sit in the coziest chair at the party, kneel on an old pillow while gardening and dare to wear lower heeled shoes to an event. Plunging estrogen is making you more sensitive to aches and pains, so taking precautions to avoid them will go a long way toward enjoying your time off.
