Which week are you on in your monthly cycle? Find out what it reveals about what your weekend has in store:

Week 1
Day 1 (first day of period) to Day 7
Estrogen and testosterone rise
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: As your Week 1 goes along, you become more optimistic due to rising estrogen and more impulsive due to rising testosterone. As a result, you could end up making split-second decisions because you’re so sure the outcome will be positive, for instance, you may end up coloring your hair, donning a daring outfit or spilling a big secret to a friend!

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Estrogen and testosterone rise till they peak
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: You may get the urge to be naughty, play hooky or ditch someone to hang out with someone else who’s way more fun this weekend. Blame for your bad-girl ways goes to high estrogen and testosterone, which encourage you to push the envelope and do things on a whim!

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Progesterone rises; estrogen and testosterone drop for half the week, then rise again
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: You get more satisfaction from reading, taking photos, organizing and doing other solitary activities this weekend thanks to rising progesterone, which slows you down and makes you a tad less interested in socializing and chatting.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Estrogen, testosterone and progesterone plunge
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: You may take something someone says the wrong way or you may dwell on an out-and-out snarky comment someone makes this weekend. The problem is plunging estrogen, which lowers feel-good brain chemicals, making you more sensitive to rude comments.
