My HormonologyWhich week are you on
in your monthly cycle?
Find out what it reveals about
what your weekend has in store:

Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
This weekend’s hormone horoscope: This weekend, you may start a new project that gets you more organized, such as getting folders to organize your big box of receipts, buying a cable organizer that big octopus of wires under your desk or cleaning out your closet to make getting dressed less of a hassle. Credit for your organizing ways go to rising estrogen, which gives you the mental and physical oomph to start a new task and the motivation to make something better in your life!

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
This weekend’s hormone horoscope: This weekend, you may be tempted to splurge on items that make you appear more powerful, such as high-heeled shoes, a new suit or a designer purse. Why? As testosterone reaches its heights, it makes you more competitive and gives you the urge to show others that you’re top dog!

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
This weekend’s hormone horoscope: Take on fewer responsibilities and tasks this weekend. Rising progesterone, a sedating hormone, is making you poop out faster than you did in the first two weeks of your cycle. As a result, trying to tackle a bunch of tiring to-dos, such as laundry, shopping and cleaning, could sap all the energy you have, making you too fatigued to do anything fun, like see a movie or go out with friends!

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
This weekend’s hormone horoscope: You’ll be happiest when you take some me-time this weekend, such as getting a mani/pedi, going for a run or treating yourself to something special. If you don’t and just end up doing chores or vegging on the couch in front of the TV, plunging estrogen may fill you full of regret about not taking the opportunity to pamper yourself while you had the chance.
