Today’s Hormone Horoscope: Tuesday, April 27, 2010

My HormonologyWhich week are you on in your cycle?

Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormone-cast: As estrogen and testosterone rise, you’ll probably feel like you are so over last week’s low-hormone slow-down and just want to jump head-first into projects and take on all the to-dos you set aside. Just be careful of overloading your plate too fast and taking on too many tasks at once. There’s a chance that if you get overwhelmed by starting too many projects, you could lose your steam and find yourself back at square one with nothing accomplished.

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormone-cast: For most gals, this may be just a boring Tuesday. But, high-hormoned Week 2 gals like you often seem to find a way to spice up any night of the week in a way that usually ends with an unforgettable entry on

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormone-cast: You may feel gassy and bloated today as rising progesterone slows down digestion and makes you a bit more constipated. To ease the pressure, try sipping mint or fennel tea, which painlessly relieves trapped gas.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormone-cast: You may feel more whiny and complainy today as plunging estrogen puts a spotlight on people, places and things that annoy you. Is no one around to gripe to? Then get your irritations off your chest at, where you can pick your category, such as work or wife complaints, and anonymously spout off.
