Week 1
First day of period to Day 7

Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: You may have an “A-ha!” moment today where you come up with a new invention, genius solution or creative idea. Credit for your brilliance goes to high estrogen and testosterone, which are making your brain skills peak, have you thinking faster, are prompting you to consider a lot of ideas and urging you to think outside the box! 

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: Rising progesterone is putting you in the mood to be comforted: You prefer homey, rich foods to spicy or diet edibles; you’d rather snuggle under a comfy blanket than trek to the gym; you’re in the mood to treat yourself to your favorite desserts because you deserve it; and you’re happiest hanging with your best buds and avoiding frenemies like the plague.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: You may want to hope that folks you talk with today have a bit of patience. Plunging estrogen is making it harder for you to get to your point and remember the right word you wanted to say, so you may end up rambling, repeating yourself, saying the wrong word and going off on unrelated tangents before returning to the topic you were originally discussing.
