My HormonologyWhich week are you on
in your monthy cycle?
Find out what it reveals about
what your day has in store:

Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormonescope: You may feel the urge to high-five yourself for a job well done, a bill paid off, a successful day of dieting or another accomplishment. As estrogen and testosterone rise, they amp up your excitement level, which brings out your inner cheerleader!

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: High estrogen and testosterone are making your confidence higher than it usually is during other weeks of your cycle. In fact, at times you could be so sure of yourself that you might refuse to listen to others when they’re really in the right. So, if someone tells you that the boss isn’t in the mood to listen to a new project pitch, the deli’s pea soup tastes like feet or that investing in pyrite is a bad idea, maybe you should pay a little more attention.

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: You may feel a little clingy today as lower levels of testosterone brings down your desire to be independent and rising progesterone boosts your urge to cuddle and connect with loved ones.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: It’s not that you become totally self-centered this week, but your focus is definitely on your comfort and care, for instance, you might change the TV channel to one you like when someone else is watching a show, you may take 10 minutes to readjust a car seat to get it to your liking when riding as a passenger in somone’s car, and you might switch on the a/c when everyone else is freezing. But, who can blame you? Plunging estrogen, testosterone and progesterone are putting you in a withdrawal-like state that results in down moods and makes you extra sensitive to physical discomforts.
