Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormonescope: Watch your wallet today! Rising estrogen and testosterone are making you more likely to splurge on lots of little impulse purchases, like nail polish, magazines, toys, sunglasses and keychains. Unfortunately, those little items add up fast, so if you’re on a budget try keeping your cash at home.

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: Unlike how you’ll be in Week 3, you are in a mood to talk up a storm! High estrogen has you thinking of tons of topics you’d like to bring up with just about anyone and high testosterone is making you confident in what you’ve got to say, so you figure why not just say it? 

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: Unlike how you were in Week 2,  you may try to avoid chatting today. As progesterone rises, this subduing hormone makes you enjoy quiet moments much more. Unfortunately, not everyone is going to get the memo, so you may be stuck listening to a talkative sales clerk, co-worker or neighbor, trying desperately to think of ways to escape from their ceaseless chit-chat.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: With tremendous shifts in hormones this week as estrogen, testosterone and progesterone take a steep plunge, you may experience changes in your body, for instance, you may get hit with headaches, become more sensitive to scents, notice more aches or have flare-ups of chronic health issues, like arthritis. I bring this up so you can become more aware of how you experience your Week 4 and make it better by taking precautions, such as avoiding certain discomfort-triggers, and reminding yourself to treat yourself well, for instance, by taking regular breaks and not overfilling your to-do list.
