Week 1

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13

High estrogen and testosterone are pumping up your confidence and derring-do, making you throw caution to the wind and not care about the consequences. As a result, you may break a rule, skirt a restriction or try to pull one over on someone!

Week 3

Today’s hormonescope: You’ll likely be wearing muted colors, baggier clothes and less makeup today than you did during the first half of your cycle. That’s because rising progesterone and lower levels of estrogen put you in the mood for comfort and make you want to blend into the background rather than stand center-stage.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: You may find it harder to stick to a diet, budget or other self-improvement plan you’ve made for yourself. The problem? Plunging estrogen and testosterone are sapping you of momentum and making you feel like you’re not making much progress, so what’s the point of continuing. Try to push past this low-motivation phase and you’ll be rewarded with more oomph to reach your goal as estrogen starts to rise again in Week 1.
