Week 1
First day of period to Day 7

Not only is high estrogen making it easier to appreciate the positives in your life, by dwelling on these uplifting thoughts for a few minutes, this rising hormone also helps your brain churn out more feel-good brain chemicals, making your mood soar even higher!

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: If someone proposes an idea or solution to a problem, you may get the urge to dismiss it immediately. That’s because rising progesterone is making you want to play it safe and lower levels of estrogen and testosterone are making you less comfortable with untested plans. Thing is, that new proposal could be just the fix you need, so give it a second and third thought before ruling it out.  

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle

With estrogen and testosterone taking a nosedive, it’s easy to get caught up in chastising yourself for the bad outcomes of decisions you made.
