Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: It’s easier to emotionally distance yourself from people, issues and events. Others may see you as a bit cold as you refuse to be pulled into another office melodrama, ignore a woe-is-me email from an elementary school classmate you hadn’t heard from since you were 8, choose not to soothe a regretful employee who messed up or brusquely walk away from negotiations without giving an inch. Truth is, high testosterone is making you feel more independent and less concerned with how people view you, so you don’t feel the need to coddle others.
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: You’re less likely to wear the colorful, curve-hugging clothes, funky jewelry and other eye-catching items you wore during Week 2. That’s because rising progesterone and lower levels of estrogen and testosterone make you less comfortable with standing out in a crowd and more prone to trying to blend in.
