Today’s Daily Hormone Horoscope: Monday, February 6, 2012

My HormonologyWhich week are you on
in your monthy cycle?
Find out what it reveals about
what your day has in store:

Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormonescope: You may feel like you’re in need of an upgrade in your appearance, for example, a new hairstyle, new clothes or a new tattoo. The reason? As estrogen rises, it makes you more concerned about how others perceive you, plus it’s raising your self-esteem, making you feel as though you’re worth the improvement!

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: Friends, family or coworkers may accuse you of being a tad obsessed about something or someone today. For instance, you may dive headlong into a project, plot to exact revenge on a company that did you wrong or set your sights on snagging a date with a certain cutie. Credit (blame?) for the single-mindedness goes to high estrogen and testosterone, which make you more emotional about issues while also upping your energy and determination to take action about them!

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: Today your voice becomes a bit more monotone, your smile is a little smaller and you may be using fewer hand gestures. That’s because, as sedating progesterone rises, it brings down your emotional energy and makes you a tad less expressive than you were during the first two weeks of your cycle.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: Money issues may be on your mind today as plunging estrogen and testosterone lower your brain’s level of confidence-boosting chemicals. As a result, you may be inspired to clip coupons, update your resume or investigate new ways to rake in cash, for instance, starting a side business or making money from YouTube videos.
