Today’s Daily Hormone Horoscope: Monday, April 25, 2011

My HormonologyWhich week are you on
in your monthy cycle?
Find out what it reveals about
what your day has in store:

Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormonescope: As estrogen rises, your mind is buzzing with new ideas. For instance, you may be thinking of ways to make extra income, redecorate your home, plant a new garden, go back to school or even simply find a new place for lunch.

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: As estrogen and testosterone climb high today, you’re craving excitement in all aspects of your life, for instance, you may flirt with someone who’s got a lot of power or who’s a bit of a wild child, you might drive faster than usual and you’ll probably opt for seeing an action thriller over a romantic comedy.

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: You may feel a twinge of guilt over not spending enough time with those who care about you as rising progesterone ups your urge to connect and nurture relationships in your life. As a result, you may send out a few emails to pals, text your sister, take your kids or dog out to the park or make a date with your sweetie.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: You’ll probably have a bit of trouble getting to the point in conversations today as dwindling estrogen puts a damper on verbal and memory abilities. As a result, you may repeat yourself, touch on many unrelated topics and say a few ums and ahs as you try to remember the word you want to use.
