Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormonescope: Thanks to rising testosterone, your libido is getting a jolt this week. And thanks to rising estrogen, a hormone that urges you to go out and make a love connection, you’re flirting more than you did in your Week 4. I’m just helpfully pointing this out in case you were making plans this weekend since you may want to make sure they include activities where you’ll be seeing lots and lots of hotties ; ) 

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: You’re craving adventure and excitement thanks to high estrogen and testosterone and you’ll do just about anything you can to get it, for instance, you may take an impromptu trip, head to a social event  you normally would shy away from or try new activities, like zip lining or zorbing!

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: Try not to take what the bathroom scale says too seriously today. Rising progesterone is triggering constipation and bloat, which can easily add one, two, even three pounds to your weight. Luckily, by the time Week 1 comes around again, the constipation and bloat will be history and so will those added pounds.  

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: You may think it’s time to give up on a project that’s been stalled for awhile. As estrogen and testosterone descend, they’re helping you see the reality of the obstacles that have halted your progress, which you tried to overlook or work through in earlier weeks of your cycle. And that’s not a bad thing. Sometimes, you need to let go of something you were sure you could make work to create room for something better than doesn’t require so much effort.
