Which week are you on in your cycle?

Week 1
First day of period to Day 7
Today’s hormonescope: As estrogen and testosterone rise, you’ll probably feel like you are so over last week’s low-hormone slow-down and just want to jump head-first into projects and take on all the to-dos you set aside. Just be careful of overloading your plate too fast and taking on too many tasks at once. There’s a chance that if you get overwhelmed by starting too many projects, you could lose your steam and find yourself back at square one with nothing accomplished.

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 13
Today’s hormonescope: Whether you realize it or not, you’re going to be more flirtatious today. That’s because when estrogen reaches the heights it does this week, it makes you use more of a sing-songy voice, gets you to smile wider so you show more teeth, gives your face a bit of a glow, makes your facial features become  a tad more symmetrical and pumps up your body’s output of come-hither pheremones—all proven ways to attract hotties within a five-mile radius.

Week 3
Day 14 (or ovulation) to Day 22
Today’s hormonescope: You may feel a bit more sentimental today as rising progesterone gives your hearstrings an emotional tug. As a result, you may get the urge to book a vacation to a spot you enjoyed visiting with loved ones, call an old classmate out of the blue to say hi or look up old pals on Facebook to see what they’ve been up to all these years.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Today’s hormonescope: You may feel more whiny and complainy today as plunging estrogen puts a spotlight on people, places and things that annoy you. Is no one around to gripe to?
