
17 Jul New study: Your clothing choice reveals a cycle secret….
Before you read on to today’s Hormonology Tip, take a look down at the clothes you’re wearing, then think about where you are right now in your monthly cycle. I’ll wait.

Okay, so if you’re in Week 2 of your cycle (the week leading up to and including ovulation), are you wearing red or reddish clothing or accents? Chances are good that you are!
That’s the word from a new study in the journal Psychological Science that backs up a 2013 study that found women are more likely to adorn themselves in red hues during the most fertile days of their cycle.
Why? There are two reasons, research shows: You subconsciously use red as a way to signal that you’re fertile to potential or current mates. And, red makes you appear more attractive.
Whether or not you’re in your Week 2 right now, I’ll be you’ll bet paying a lot closer attention to what you wear every time your Week 2 rolls around!
