If you’re a smoker trying to quit or know a woman who is, a new study suggests the best day of a woman’s monthly cycle to start kicking the habit is Day 5 (Day 1 is the first day of your period). According to researchers from Japan’s Morinomiya University of Medical Sciences, you experience fewer cravings and fewer withdrawal symptoms from Day 5 to Day 14 than during your period and during Week 3 and Week 4 of your cycle. As a result, it’s easier to break the habit for good!
