Hormonology uses hundreds of scientific studies to show you how your hormones impact you in virtually every way every day of your monthly cycle. The Hormone Horoscope is a nifty little way of dispensing this information daily. My HormonologyWhich week are you on in your monthly cycle? Find out what it reveals about what your day has in store:

Week 1
Day 1 (first day of period) to Day 7
Estrogen rises
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: Rising estrogen is making you chattier and interested in connecting with others. So, I’d like to suggest a sort-of game I love to play that you’d probably enjoy this weekend: Invite your friend, sibling or sweetie out for a bite to eat and then say, “Tell me something I don’t know about you.” This usually prompts a very interesting conversation where you’re both sharing stories that can keep you talking for hours.

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 14 or ovulation (here’s how to tell when you’re ovulating)
Estrogen and testosterone rise till they peak
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: This weekend, take the opportunity to do something that requires fine motor skills, like decorating a dollhouse, rebuilding a carburetor or playing Operation. High estrogen is sharpening your dexterity and accuracy, making detail-work easier to do.

Week 3
Day 15 (or the day after ovulation) to Day 22
Progesterone rises; estrogen and testosterone drop for half the week, then estrogen rises again
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: If it’s the first half of your Week 3, plunging estrogen may tax your patience, making you a bit irritable when things don’t go exactly like you want them to–for instance, a company loses your payment and charges you a late fee or your hairdresser convinces you to try something new that doesn’t end up looking as awesome as she predicted. If it’s the second half of your Week 3, estrogen rises and, coupled with soothing progesterone, this hormone combination can make you the calm in any storm, able to handle minor annoyances with more patience and grace. And a lot less yelling.

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
Estrogen and progesterone plunge
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: It may be more difficult to let go of a grudge or end a feud this weekend. That’s because plunging estrogen is making you less flexible and forgiving. For the same reason, folks who tick you off this weekend may inadvertently end up spurring a new grudge or feud with you.
