This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: Here’s your chance to get big, physically-demanding projects done, Week 2 gal! For instance, have a garage to de-clutter? Been meaning to try a rigorous new workout? Dream of building your own mini-house? Tackle it now! With estrogen and testosterone sky-high, you’re going to have more get-up-and-go now than during any other week of your cycle. Not feeling the energy rush? Then take it as a red flag that something’s out of whack, for instance, you may be under a lot of stress, a medication may be sapping your pep or you may not be getting enough vitamins and minerals from your diet. Once you pinpoint and fix the problem, trust me, you’ll be enjoying that high-hormone oomph once again!
Day 15 (or the day after ovulation) to Day 22
Progesterone rises; estrogen and testosterone drop for half the week, then estrogen rises again

This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: Your challenge today is to avoid getting distracted, Week 4 gal. With estrogen plummeting, your powers of concentration can go south with it. My advice? Boost motivation to stick with a project by promising yourself a PMS-busting treat for a certain amount of work you complete, say, eating an indulgent snack, watching your favorite TV show or taking a long, relaxing bubble bath.
