Week 1

Estrogen rises
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: As your Week 1 goes on, you may find yourself interacting more with others on Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites, you’re texting more, you’re answering the phone even when the caller’s name doesn’t show and you’re making more calls to friends and family members. All this need to communicate is due to rising estrogen; as levels of this hormone climb higher and higher, it pushes you to reach out and connect with others, even if it’s just in small ways, such as to “like” a post or “lol” in a text.

Week 2
Day 8 to Day 14 or ovulation (here’s how to tell when you’re ovulating)
Estrogen and testosterone rise till they peak
This weekend’s Hormone Horoscope: Even though your memory and brain skills are at their peaks thanks to high estrogen and testosterone, you could come off as a bit flaky today. The reason? Those same sky-high hormones that are boosting your brain are also making you a bit silly, impulsive and speedy–a combination that could have you making a lot of jokes, saying things that border the line of appropriate and/or tripping over your tongue in your haste to get your words out. In some cases this could actually be a good thing, say, if you’re competing in a game or debating a topic in a discussion, since your lighthearted, high-spirited ways lull other folks into assuming you’re not as sharp, when in actuality those peaking brain skills can have you surprising game opponents with your masterful moves and debate opponents with incisive arguments that can’t be topped!

Week 3

Progesterone rises; estrogen and testosterone drop for half the week, then estrogen rises again

Week 4
Day 23 to the end of cycle
