Banish premenstrual grumpiness by napping

sleepyWomen bothered by premenstrual moodiness and anxiety felt cheerier, more relaxed, mentally sharper and more alert after taking a daily 30-minute afternoon nap during the week before their period than women who simply rested for the same amount of time, according to a study out of the University of Ottawa.

Research shows that nighttime sleep the week before menstruation is less restful, which makes you groggy and irritable during the day.

Tip: You’ll rest best when you take your nap between 1 pm and 4 pm, which is when your body hits a natural lull in energy.

I’ll do the 1PM and 4PM nap advise. I like the ginko biloba article though because the natural remedy is just right infront of my kitchen. There’s alot of friends of mine who has been telling me about natural remedies of pms. One reason why I have been researching so much on this.

I have been taking the medicine called “MIDOL,” it worked great for me (I don’t know for how long though, if my body gets used to it). I love it and helps alot with cramps too. My physical discomfort also improved when I started Yoga class. It didn’t work for my friend, instead she took advise from the expert.

    Best Regards and Thank You!
